DIRECTOr, AM head TEACHER
Eileen joined our staff in 2004. She has a B.A. in Journalism from New York University and a Masters in Education from Seton Hall University. Eileen has NJ State Certification in Elementary Education and she has worked as a teacher in Maplewood/South Orange. Eileen is also Director of the Big Blue Mini Day Camp at The Pingry School. Prior to working with children, Eileen worked as a Trainer in Management Development at Goldman Sachs. Eileen grew up in Rochester, New York and currently lives in Springfield with her two children. She enjoys tennis, walking, writing, reading, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.
Director, PM Head Teacher
Adrienne joined our staff in September 2003. She has a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Education from Siena College and a Masters in Special Education from Fordham University. She has NJ State Certification in both Special Education and Elementary Education. Adrienne has worked as an elementary school classroom teacher in Washington, D.C. and in New York City at the City and Country School. Adrienne grew up in Hunter, New York. Adrienne lives in Short Hills with her husband and three children. All of her children attended the Co-op. Adrienne enjoys, traveling, cooking, skiing, hiking, gardening, running and spending time with her family.
AM/PM Assistant Teacher
Kristin joined our staff in 2010. She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and holds a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College. Previously she taught at the Bank Street Family Center working with typically developing children and children with special needs aged six months to five years. Currently she is a Girl Scout leader and Sunday School teacher. Kristin lives in Maplewood with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys hiking, gardening, reading and spending time with her family.
Devon joined our staff in January 2013. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 2002 with a BS in Early Childhood Education. Devon recently moved back to NJ from Vermont, where she had lived for 13 years. She began her teaching career as a preschool teacher and then taught Kindergarten for 6 years. She is married, with two children and a Bernese Mountain Dog. Devon enjoys doing pilates, listening to music, hiking with her dog and spending time with her family.
Ronnie is a former Co-op Director and teacher (from 1979 to 1999) who shaped much of what the current Co-op philosophy and curriculum is today. Ronnie is in private practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Millburn, NJ and is an Adjunct Professor in Child Development at Montclair State University.
